Achilles, one of the fierce warriors who have ever lived, the story revolves around him. He defeated Hector’s army and the Trojans with no difficulty with the help of his battle trance. His arrogance against his own people, the Myrmidons, Patroclos and Agamemnon almost endangered the entire Achaeans. His rage causes many troubles for him and also the Achaeans but it’s his rage that almost won their side with his killing frenzy.
For my own version of the novel, I would adjust the event where Hector died against his battle with Achilles. In this incident it allows Achilles to redeem himself for what happened to his best friend and unleash his wrath and show how might and powerful he is. In the original story, Achilles killed hector thus showing his power. Apollo helped Hector by preventing the fight with Achilles and As Athena disguised leaving him helpless. I would change the time when The Trojans rush back through the Trojan walls. Instead of Apollo and Athena helping back, Hector will fight Achilles alone. Achilles and Hector will have a fight for the ages and this would allow Achilles’ rage can kill a man even the fiercest of them all. The scene will be an epic war between the two of the greatest men. But Hector’s death will remain as is. While Hector helpless in the ground, Priam, his father will beg for Achilles to not kill his son. Sadly Achilles will be blinded by his holy fervor and like a viper he will struck down the heart of his victim. Achilles will wake up from what happened and will see what he have done and from his eyes tears will roll down. This kind of Attitude tells how pride can give no benefits.  In this version of my mine it proves the importance of how Achilles’ rage affects the things around him.
